Have been to Portugal on previous occasions, first time in Alentejo region and I have to say that this was perhaps the greatest meal I&#39;ve had thus far. And there have been some pretty amazing ones. From the chef working the floor, the sommelier, the wait staff, the service and attention to detail, along with the food itself, was outstanding. A must visit if in Evora.

The staff is welcoming and explain all the food in details. Spicy prawn rice is great and the grilled veal loin is perfect. Definitely will recommend to other visitors

I recently dined at Lombardo Restaurant and had a fantastic experience! Nice off-the-beaten-path restaurant that is just a short walk from Evora sites.  We enjoyed the traditional food options that were recommended (Dogfish Soup and Taska Chicken).

It was a great experience by all means except the payment. They only except cash payment and we were not warned in advance. It was very unusual. Nevertheless the food, the service and the ambiance was quite nice. Go there with same cash reserve :-)
